Line Manager sends one kind of text message: a team
invitation, sent once, at the deliberate action of a team administrator.
There are no recurring, promotional or marketing messages of any kind.
Overview
Line Manager is a team management app for coaches, captains and players.
It is invite-only — there is no public sign-up. SMS is used for exactly one
purpose: delivering a team invitation code to someone a team administrator
is inviting onto their roster.
How we collect phone numbers
A phone number is entered by an authenticated team administrator inside the
app, on the form used to invite a player to their team.
- A phone number is optional. Email is the primary invitation
method, and an invite code can also be read out or shared in person.
- Only signed-in team administrators can send an SMS invitation. Players
cannot, and nobody outside a team can.
- Numbers are typed in manually, one at a time. We do not import contact
lists, buy lists, or collect numbers from any source other than an
administrator typing one in.
- Administrators are required to have the recipient's permission before
entering their number. Inviting someone who has not agreed to be
contacted is a misuse of the app.
What the message says
Every invitation SMS has the same form:
You've been invited to join [team name] on Line Manager! Your code: [invite code] (expires [date]). Download: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6754002387
That is the whole message. It contains the team name, a single-use
invitation code, the code's expiry date, and a link to the app's App Store
listing. It contains no advertising, no tracking links and no attachments.
The download link is the store's own canonical URL — it carries no
identifier for you and no campaign or referral parameters.
Consent
No message is ever sent automatically. Each one requires, in order:
- A team administrator signs in and opens the invite form for a specific player.
- The administrator enters a phone number, which they must already have
the recipient's permission to use.
- The administrator explicitly taps Send Invite.
One tap sends one message to one person. There is no bulk send, no
scheduled send, and no way for the system to message a number on its own.
Message frequency
One message per invitation. If an administrator re-sends an expired
or unreceived invitation, that is a further single message, again requiring
a deliberate tap. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out
Because these are one-time transactional messages, there is no recurring
subscription to cancel. You can still stop them entirely:
- Reply STOP to any message from our number. This is honoured
automatically by our messaging provider and blocks all future messages to
your number.
- Ask the team administrator who invited you to delete your phone number.
They can remove it from the app at any time.
- Email privacy@coraxislabs.com
to have your number removed from our systems.
How we handle the number
- Phone numbers are stored only to deliver the invitation and to show the
inviting administrator what they sent.
- They are never sold, rented, shared with advertisers, or used for
marketing.
- Messages are delivered by Twilio, our messaging provider, which
processes the number solely to deliver the message on our behalf.
- Deleting your account removes your phone number along with the rest of
your data. See Delete your account.

privacy policy.
